Marina is back!
_

After making her debut in a previous Clarín campaign, Marina returned for Horno Fácil—and this time she had a whole new kitchen to play with (see Marina's development here).

The campaign was created using a hybrid AI production workflow, with every shot carefully directed through either 3D previs or real-footage references. That gave us the freedom of generative AI without giving up control over camera, action and performance.

The result is exactly the kind of AI filmmaking I'm interested in: less hoping for a lucky generation, more actually directing the shot.

And yes... Marina still loves cooking.

Directing with references
_

Every shot in this film started with a reference.

Depending on the scene, we used either real footage to define the performance or a 3D blocking created in Blender to control camera, action, timing and product placement before moving into generative AI.

The result? More control, fewer happy accidents.

Because sometimes the best way to tell AI what you want is simply to show it.

Motion control

One motion. Many possibilities.
_

First, we built the exact movement we wanted in 3D: trays flying up, multiplying, spinning in the air and landing back in place.

Then we used that same animation as a reference to explore completely different hyper-realistic visual outcomes with generative AI.

Same camera. Same timing. Same choreography.

Different visual worlds.

That's where things get interesting.
